Part three:
Witchy says:
But princesses are usually born under a lucky
benevolent star which never puts them down; and so it happened that
a handsome prince,
coming to the market to buy a new pair of “Dolce and Gabbana” jeans,
saw her; but he was too sympathetic and kind to purchase her
personally so he sent one of his servants. The servant came back
with several pairs of jeans (which the prince tried on) and the princess
(whom he did not try, being the sympathetic and kind person we said
before). That’s how the princess became one of the servants
in the prince’s household.
She was not treated badly but everybody thought she
was a bit dull because she was not able to do anything, not even
the washing up! And since she did not show any interest in learning
how to do such things people easily got impatient with her and she
was often left alone in the kitchen doing nothing.
One day it came to her mind she still had the pieces of the smashed
videogame player in her pocket and started trying to fix it with
Super-Glue. After many attempts the pieces fitted together and the
player, after two or three beeeeep and buuuurps, suddenly became
alive and kicking again. “The man you’re going to meet
very soon!” Said the machine and the screenplay showed a blue
sky with a shining sun and clouds as white as snowflakes, an emerald
meadow covered with daisies and a blue calm endless ocean only crisped
on the surface by fine foamy waves.
“
What I see must be the soul of this man! How lovely! I don’t
mind if he is a poor man or a king: I wish I could give him my love
for ever!”
Just when she was saying these words aloud the prince entered the
kitchen and saw her and, rather surprised at seeing a girl who was
not only very beautiful but also skilled at videogames, fell immediately
in love with her. After a few weeks they got married and together
they lived happily for ever because they loved each other for no
other reason than what they saw in each other’s souls.
